Happy Fall Winter Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop time!!!

So anyone that knows me knows I love a few things for sure....all things cat/dog...and coffee.....  I have accumulated a good number of coffee themed shirts and we have more mugs than any one family should ever have, but I can't help myself...

I love when the Coffee Loving Cardmakers get hopping...always a good reason to pull out my coffee themed images and get busy.  This time I started with this wonderful chipboard from Creative Embellishments.  I was lucky enough to win a prize from their online party a little while ago and picked out this awesome saying "Life Happens Coffee Helps"...  I started by painting the piece with High Impact Black paint from Tattered Angels and set it aside to dry.  I then printed this fun "Time for Tea Girl" from Time For Tea Designs.  I colored her in with prismacolored pencils and fussy cut the image out.  I then assembled my card by first covering the card base (5 x 7 white card with matching envelope from Canvas Corp Brands) with some scrap pattern paper I have from the Prima Legdger Pad.  I then used liquid glue to add the chipboard and a tape runner to add the image.  I then used some black ink to distress the edges of the entire card.

Be sure to check out all the amazing entries along the hop...I end up making quite the list of must have new coffee themed images by the time I am done hopping along!

Happy crafting....Lynda
