Our theme for November is Gratitude. I was luck enough to be able to chose an image from the Creative Bug Digital store to work with and picked this image titled Bella Picking Berries.
I decided on this wonderful Henry Ward Beecher quote for my card and added it just under the branch when I printing the image. I wanted the focus of my card to be this adorable image; so I decided to use only cardstock behind the image. I colored the image using my Copics and used chalk to add the light background behind her.
What are you grateful for? What does gratitude mean to you? I am grateful that I live in a community that is close enough to a big city, but far enough away that there are open fields, big trees, and areas to just explore. Where I live I can walk just a short distance and be away from paved roads and walk along trails that roam through fields that are often filled with horses. I am lucky that my dog enjoys long walks because it is easy when you are enjoying the nature around you to lose track of time and distance.
So...pull out some supplies and craft something based on our theme and be sure to link it up prior to our deadline.
