More Spectrum Noir coloring, a cute image, and Cloud nine velvet glitter

I've been working hard on my coloring using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils.  Like any coloring medium practice makes perfect and I've been taking my coloring with me to every kid event the past month and working on blending whenever I can.  Once again I have quite a little following at the dojo as the girls are doing their karate lessons.  Mostly it's the small kids that come to watch, but there are a few moms that now make it a point to sit in my area and smile when I glance up.

This week I've been working on these adorable images from Cuddly Buddly Designs.  This particular image is of this cutie who's name is Fudge...this image is called Do I look good on this?  I printed a full sheet of this image and went to town coloring him in various color combinations.  I then decided that I liked this one that is a salmon like pink and green.  I colored the entire image using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils.  I then used chalk to add the blue tint behind the image.  I then layered the image onto this wonderful pattern paper and then added the stack to my cardbase.  I then cut the love sentiment from coordinating pattern paper six times and stacked them together.  I then added the sentiment stack to the card front.  I added some glitter pen to the top fuzzy ball on the hat and two at the end of the strings.  I then pulled out something that I haven't used this year (not because I don't love it, but I haven't really done winter scene cards in a few months) my Deco Art Glistening Snow Writer.  I LOVE this puffy stuff for making dimensional snow effects on my projects.  I then pulled out my Cloud nine velvet glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle and covered the snow writer with the fluffy glittery goodness.

Isn't he just the cutest...and it feels so good to create a winter theme card since the weather is starting to turn.
