So....I've been spending some time lately trying some new things I have added to my crafty collection. The first is the Tim Holtz spritzer. This tool does take some getting used to...so I have been playing around a lot with it...and I have to say it is fun! The next thing are the Spectrum Noir colored pencils. They are really nice and blend very nicely with gamsol. So I thought I would combine the two to make a card for the Tiddly Inks Head in the Clouds challenge.
I first printed the image (Fairy Fae catches a star) onto watercolor paper and colored her in. I then used the spritzer to create this background. I cut a cloud image from scrap paper and spritzed using purple, blues, greens, and pinks. I then outlined the clouds with a grey Copic liner and then with a white Signo pen. I then mounted the image onto two pieces of coordinating cardstock.
I also added some glitter pen to the stars. I think she is so wonderful...
Gotta go...more spritzing to do....too little time...
Happy crafting....Lynda

This is lovely. I really like the background you achieved with the spritzers. It's perfect for the fairy.
