Clean and simple valentine...and a little bit more...

It's my day to post on the ABC Team blog....  I can not believe it is February already...and in just a week it's Valentine's Day...are you ready?  The Design Team Challenge this month focuses on the colors Red, White, and Pink...  I thought I would do a clean and simple card that could be stamped and colored pretty quick if you haven't gotten started on your cards yet...

I started out stamping the flower and bottle image from the My Cute Stamps Paris tower set onto cardstock using Memento ink.  I next stamped the sentiment from the My Cute Stamps Little Forest Friends set.  I then colored my image using Copic markers (colorless blender, B00, R20, R29, and YG03).  I then backed the image with red and pink cardstock scraps.  Added them all to a blank white card blank and here it is:

I have a few other Valentine's that I need to send out...so I created this card for a special friend...

This card features the adorable Rachelle Miller Candy Time dog stamp...so cute!!!  The image is stamped using Memento ink and colored withCopics (colorless blender, B00, E00, R20, E31, E33, Y02, YR02, and YG03)  I finished off the card stamping a sentiment from the Hero Arts Love Every day set.  I ran my card base through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder to add some extra texture to the project.  I think my special friend will really enjoy getting this greeting in the mail...
