Adorn It Blog Hop

I am so very excited to be participating in the Adorn It blog hop today!!! This blog hop is all about summer...and nothing means summer to me more than bathing suits and outdoor celebrations!!!

For my first card, I first created a bikini template. To make my suit stand out...I decided to use some of the wonderful Adorn It Deep Black Patch pattern paper that was included in the June Paper Popsicles kit; who wouldn't love to wear this pattern??? I decided to create a layered project; so I first used black bazzill cardstock on my card. I then added a piece of pink bazzill that I first embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots template. I went back over the dots with a white gel pen so they would really stand out. I stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock and then matted it with the same card base colors. I punched these cute flowers and added stickles to the center to make them shine...I added the cute little drink rubon that I had in my stash...


for my next card I decided that I wanted to use that same Celebrate stamp image again...
I also used the same pattern paper to create these paper flowers for my second card; this paper just say summer to me.....I added some buttons from my stash...I decided to use my Cuttlebug template again to create the small embossed lines at the top and bottom of my card for some added interest...
