My final Jillibeans layout and Kaiser beaded curtains card...

Here is my final Jillibeans layout and a card I created using the Kaiser Crafts beaded curtains from the February I Am A Scrapaholic kit.
For this layout I used some colorbox ink to make the swirly arrow darker in color. I added some red cardstock from my stash to make my photo pop... I created the bird using two pieces of the pattern paper from the kit...added some Primas from my stash...these delish stamp (this is what love looks like) is Unity...added some MM tiny letter stickers for my title... the Love tag was from my stash; as was the Maya Road ribbon slide flower on the bottom... ink in all the right places...and there you go....
deep in thought:

then for my final card (also can be seen on the IAAS blog post dated 2.22.09)
I decided to change the color of the beaded curtains...so I used my colorbox ink: inked both pieces from the kit and then cut them apart.

I then created my card from the kit kraft cardstock; added a piece of darker brown cardstock that I first edged with the Fiskars Threading Waters punch and embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder... I took five pieces of the beaded curtains and assembled them to look like the petals on a flower. I added a button from my stash; added some string to the center of the button... added a strip of cardstock that I edged with scallop sicssors for my stem....I put one of the rubons from the kit on another piece of brown cardstock and added it to the card. Inked the edges of my card and it was all done....

I just checked and it looks like there may be a few Scrap kits left over there...you'd better hurry...this Kraft paper is HOT!!!!
