I decided for this layout that I would partially journal onto my photograph and the rest of my journaling is done in the block that I made using a Unity Stamp. I love the feel of this page and this photo of the Princess in the woods is perfect for this paper!

speaking of the Princess....here she was on her final day of Kindergarten... I added some gems to the crown that I painted with silver metalic paint...I put my own grafiti on the wall and colored the parts in...

I cut apart the Maya Road overlay and layered contrasting pieces of the pattern paper behind the circles... I added a large black brad to the center of one of the kit flowers; creating the polka dots with a white sharpie and writing my title on the overlay as well.

I covered the grungboard butterfly with some pattern paper and sanded the edges to show off the details... I added pearls from my stash to simulate the body of the insect... I cut apart the Prima crystals to create the antenna for the butterfly...

I cut the pattern paper for this card so the lines met in the middle of the card. I then added the title stickers along that visual center. I cut apart more of the Prima crystals and added them around my title. The black flower from my stash is a felt Prima and I added the white swirl clip and brad from my stash as well.

I totally love this picture of my dh and the girls on our walk to see the changing leaves. I had to use it on this paper... I added the extra distressing along the edges to really "mess" up the look of the page... I cut the title words from one of the Prima papers and added the arrows from my stash. The folder tab is from YMBD scrapbooking.

This is a great kit and be sure to stop by the gallery to see all the other things the design team created with it this month...and as an added bonus you will be able to see what this month's guest designer, the amazing Aubrey Rives, has done with the kit...
