So...I had a stomach virus or something terrible yesterday so we had a down day today to let Mama just rest a bit...we were able to finish our project that we started a few days ago...life size paper doll images that the girls got to decorate all by themselves...
We started out with plotter paper that is bigger than each girl....I then traced each of them onto the paper...gave them pattern paper, crayons, flowers, beads, and lots of paper punches to use to decorate...here are the results:
First we have the Princess version...complete with red hair and check out those beads...yup she even beaded a special necklace.
Next is the Little Miss version....not sure what's up with all that red, but she's thrilled with her finished product as you can tell by that HUGE grin!!! She can not wait for Papa to get home tonight and find her likeness on her bedroom door!!!
So...next time you need a fun project that will keep your kiddos busy for a few hours...just roll out some paper and let them show you what they think they look like......this for sure will be a project I will never forget!!!
