Sometimes it just works

You ever work on a project and it just works...I mean you sit back and look at it and think...wow that is exactly what I thought this would look like...


Well I had that moment last night...I was doing one last challenge at the IAAS day at Willow Traders and they had a final fast challenge where you were to have stitching on your layout...it could be real, rubon, hand drawn....just had to have some...well...I had an idea right away and poof...this entire layout came together in less than 15 minutes... I even had time to highlight the pattern paper in that time...


So...here is my fast and furious layout that took me no time at all that I love so very much...this is using pattern paper, cardstock, and a sticker from the Asheville at Heart Kit from Picture it made...(I know...will she ever stop making things with that kit...I will when I run out of product, but I still have at least two more pieces of pattern paper, a bunch more stickers, and cardstock...maybe even a brad or two...) The ribbon is not in the kit..nor was the white pen I used to highlight everything and draw the stitches...I used a medium point sharpie to change the sticker...it originally said "We are the real deal"...and I crossed off the "We" and made it "You"...I thought that was a fun way to stretch my stickers...




This was just one of a TON of things I got done while playing at their crop....I even won the grand prize of the day which is their Scrapaholic kit....actually three kits in one big package...wahoo.... April will be such a happy mail month for me!!! Thanks to Lynn and the entire IAAS gang for a fun day and yummy prize!!!
