Growing in Unity day Four

Well it's day four of my week as the Growing in Unity gal!  Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments on my blog posts this week...it is so much fun to see that you are enjoying using the same papers and colors on all the projects as much as I did creating them...

As I continue to use the same pattern paper from the Fancy Pants Parkbench line and the colors...

I decided that my card today would be more of the CAS style.  And there is not a better stamp set to showcase the CAS style than the Gratitude = joy set.

I stamped the first flower from the left onto white cardstock using Memento black tuxedo ink.  I then colored the image with my Copic markers and also created the light background color.  I then stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of white cardstock and trimmed it down.  I then mounted both the main image and sentiment onto coordinating pieces of the whitewashed solid colors from the paper pad and then onto coordianting pieces of the pattern paper.

I hope you'll stop by tomorrow for my final day as the Growing in Unity gal...

Oh...someone posted in the comments asking what Copic colors I am using...here are the ones I jotted down that I used during the weeks projects:

BG000, BG10, BG15, BG72

Y11, Y17, Y21, Y23, Y26, Y32

YR23

E50, E53, E99

T0, T5

G00, G21

R83, R85

Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post and my others as the Growing in Unity guest posts this week for your chance to win one of two 25 random stamps grab bags from Unity!  (are they awesome or what!)  Be sure to keep an eye on my blog next week to see if you were picked as my lucky winners!

Happy crafting...Lynda

Gorgeous use of color -- I really like how the subtle coloring of the flower background mixes with the bolder paper.

And as I was the one who asked about Copic colors, THANK YOU! It is always hard to know which ones to use when you haven't used them in a while.
