Cuttin' and Stampin' Memorial Day challenge

Weekly Challenge
Orange Team 14-20
Memorial Day

This week the Design Team used the
Paper Smooches Circle of Honor stamp set and
Doodlebug Patriotic Parade papers in their projects. These
are both available in the Cuttin and Stampin Scrappy Supply Store.

Our new challenge is to make a project
celebrating Memorial Day.  There are so many
groups that collect cards for our soldiers and veterans, please
consider making a card for a hero to thank them for their service.

For my card I first stamped the eagle onto white cardstock and colored him with my Copics.  I then fussy cut the image out.  I then stamped the star onto three pieces of the coordinating pattern paper.  I then cut them each out.  I then stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock, trimmed it, and mounted it onto a scrap of the same pattern paper.  I then added dimensional tape to the back of the Eagle and stars and began putting them on the card.  I then decided to doodle the border and decided to add these puffy stars to the center of the stamped stars...  to finish it off I added this wonderful patriotic twine across the top.

Be sure to check out the Cutti' and Stampin' challenge blog for all the other projects created the designers and link up your project this week!!!

Happy crafting....Lynda
