Can you believe Cuttin' and Stampin' Challenge Blog has been going for over a year now? It has gone by so fast and we have had so much fun creating and sharing projects with you.  Starting the first of the year we decided to make a few changes.  These changes include bringing you different types of projects, and to do that we needed increase the number of members on the team.  We also decided to split the team in to two.

Today we are introducing the ORANGE team!!!

So if you found your way from JoAnn's blog you're on the right path...if you just stumbled upon my blog post be sure to start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss a thing!

We hope you will all enjoy the great new variety of project you are about to see from the Orange team.  Today we are also helping to support Paper Smooches and their 3rd Anniversary, so all of our projects will have a Paper Smooches stamp set on them.

Here is my project.  I pulled out some paper and stamped this adorable apple from the Falling for You set onto pattern paper.  I then fussy cut it out; also stamping it onto brown and green cardstock so I could cut out the leaf and stem.  I also stamped it once again onto cream cardstock and cut that piece out for the center of the apple.  This piece was also stamped with the small heart from the set.  I stamped the sentiment on the same cream cardstock and mounted it onto the same green that I made the leaf from.

I then cut strips of paper that coordinated with the apple pattern and added them to the left side of my card.  I adhered the sentiment strip and apple to my card on the bottom right.  I then added some stitching lines to my sentiment and onto the apple.
