I was lucky enough to win three images from Dilly Beans in the Link Up For Pink challenge!!! I just love Megan's images and her style is just so very fun... I had this image in my collection and thought I would spend some time coloring her up for the current Dilly Beans Halloween theme challenge. The image is colored with my Copics and chalk. Once it was colored I cut out the image and mounted it to this black cardstock that I embossed with this wonderful snakeskin type pattern. This was then mounted onto the green card base.
I had so much fun coloring her. I used a few of the tips I have been practicing using my Copics. I created the fun texture on her skin with blender ink and paper towels...then another pass over the top with just my blender pen making tiny dots. The bow was touched with a cotton ball covered with blender ink to create kind of a soft poof like pattern to the blend.
I think she looks awesome as a zombie....my girls are still trying to decide if they like her or not... :o)
Happy crafting....Lynda
