Forgot to share...sheesh...

I totally forgot to share this wonderful set I created last week.  So...I got to pick the set I wanted to work with for MyGrafico this cycle and I picked this adorable Woodland Animals set from Pixel Paper Prints:

We had a kid birthday party to go to on Saturday, so youngest and I sat down to create something special to put her friend's gift in that featured these wonderful critters.

Youngest colored the squirrel on the bag and this adorable owl on the tag:

The pattern paper is from Basic Grey's Paper Clippings line...it is wonderful!!

I hope you liked this set...I think it turned out so cute!

New image to color...

I picked up this adorable image from by LORI Desigs titled Candy Cane Jane...

I pulled out some of my older Echo Park pattern papers from the Merry Christmas line from 2010 that I had in my craft room and colored her to match it...

She was colored with my Copics and chalks...  I used distressed ink to dirty up the background...  the diecut used behind her is from Lifestyle crafts and the banner is Spellbinders.

Monday, Monday...

You know the song...always gets me down...well not if you were to receive this card in the mail.  I started with this adorable Scruffy Puppy heart image by Bugaboo:

I colored him first with Copics and then added chalk in the areas where the shadows would be...  I then found some scrap pattern paper that matched my colors perfectly...and added the sentiment rubon.

I hope you'll try using you chalks with your Copics and see what you come up with...

Welcome to the DeNami Thoughtful Thank Yous Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Thoughtful Thank Yous blog hop,  I am so excited to be participating!!  If you are coming here from Melisa's blog you are on the right path...if you stumbled into the hop along the way you'll want to start at the beginning and not miss any of the fantastic projects along the way; start HERE.

My project features the adorable Mimi with Dogs stamp.  She is just fabulous!  I colored her with my Copics and added chalk to add depth to the colored image.  I then used a few of my favorite Spellbinders dies to add some accent colors to the stamped piece.  I covered my card base with this wonderful pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket.

I have so much to be thankful for and on this Veteran's Day.  I am especially thankful for those that have and continue to serve our country in our military.  Being the spouse of a retired Military officer with twenty years of military service, I am so thankful to him for all that he did to keep this country safe and ensure the liberties we enjoy.  Thank you Lt. Cmdr Lindley you are such a wonderful example of duty, honor and commitment to our children.

I hope you have enjoyed the hop thus far...you'll next be traveling to Deb's blog to see what fantastic project she has created for you.

Oh...before you go...be sure you leave a comment on all the blogs along the way for your change to win a gift certificate for $20 to the DeNami website.  You have until November 12, 2012 11:59pm PST, to leave a comment on all the blogs to be eligible for a prize.
