DeNami Pretty packaging blog hop

Welcome to the DeNami Pretty Packaging blog hop.  If you came here from Kanani's blog you are on the right path...if you stumbled into the hop you'll want to start back at the beginning to not miss any of the amazing projects that are being showcased today...so go to the DeNami blog to get started.

For my project I decided to use the Sweet Treats Block image that I picked up at the Warehouse sale recently.  I decided it would be cute if I used some of this wonderful Bella Press Decorative Dots pattern paper to create a pillow box.
First I trimmed my pattern paper to 8 1/2 x 11 so I could run it through my printer.  I then printed a pillow box pattern that I found online onto the reverse side of the paper.  I then cut out, scored, and glued my pillow box together.
I then stamped the image onto cardstock and used my Copics and chalk to color it in.  I then mounted it onto the blue cardstock and trimmed around the image...and then repeated that with the pink cardstock.  I then used some wonderful hot pink ribbon to wrap around the box.
I added my stamped image to the box front using foam tape.
I can't wait to sneak this under the tree for my good friend with her gift enclosed.

From here you'll want to hop over to Tenia's blog to see what awesome project she has for you...

Be sure you leave a comment on each participating blog before the hop ends on December 10, 2012 at 11:59 pm PST to be eligible for a prize.  They are giving away three $20 gift certificates to the DeNami website.  One to a random participant in the hop (that's me)  and TWO from those that comment on all the blogs (that's you).

Happy crafting...and hopping......Lynda
