my sweet girl

It's been a while since I've posted a layout...I've been making pages, but I've been sharing cards only for a while...so when I saw the November Challenge on the My Minds Eye to create a gratitude layout I knew that I wanted to create something.  This layout is all about my youngest...like the journaling says her smile makes my heart swell...I am so grateful to have such a sweet daughter...

Now to share a few other projects I've been working on around the house for the holidays:

I created this large snowflake from craft sticks that I painted white...it's perfect up there in the large window upstairs...

and this one for the front door which has a layer of Martha Stewart snow glitter on it...hung with this beautiful May Arts black glitter ribbon:

and then I used some of the branches that the recent wind storm left all over the lawn to create this wreath for the front porch...

I see more giant snowflakes in my future....I have two more windows that I could put them in and a local friend I think would like me to make one for her....bring on the hot glue gun!!!

Layout supplies:  Pattern paper bingo card, flowers, journaling tag and label:  My Minds Eye, Cardboard letters:  Jillibean Soup; Distress Inks Ranger

Happy crafting...Lynda

Well, look at you with the craft stick amazement. These are wonderfully creative and with stunning results.

I do love your layout too. What a sweet picture and how well you have highlighted it with such awesome embellishments.

Fabulous!

What a precious picture and beautiful page! I love what you've done with those craft sticks, too! And way to recycle with your wreath! Fabulous projects, girl!
