Hi there...Lynda here with a Penny Black stamped card for you today...  I have to say that the moment I saw this image of Mimi and her friend I knew I had to have it...she is just the cutest darn thing...look:

I have stamped her like a dozen times since I got her...both my daughters have used the image on cards for their friends...for eac hother...pretty much any occasion is a good occasion for this Mimi & Friend stamp!!

For my card I stamped the image using Memento black ink and colored it using my Copics. I have to say that I am really enjoying trying all the techniques I learned in my Copic class from a few weeks ago.  If you look at the little girl on the right...I used a fade to white technique to get her dress to look like that...you use your Colorless Blender to wet the center of the dress area and then flick the pinkCopic marker from the edge into the blender...it gives you a gradual fade of the color in the middle...LOVE how that looks...be sure to give it a try and let me know if it works for you.  I then used a Spellbinders die to back my image and mounted the whole thing on this piece of scrap pattern paper that I had that has the cutest girly expressions on it...
