A new card

Here is another card I made with the June kit from I Am A Scrapaholic...these Chatterbox colors blend so well together they really make great cards...
For this card I chose two of the pattern papers from the kit and cut four 1/4 inch strips that were about 2 - 2 1/2 inches long. I layered the strips on top of one another in the shape of a flower. I then used a small circle punch to make my flower center. I put foam tape behind the center and behind my flowers so they are dimensional. I made one additional flower from the yellow carstock in the kit. I used a Sakura yellow souffle pen for the small dots in the flower centers. I added the phrase to the yellow cardstock and trimmed it to fit the front of the card. I rounded the corners with my Fisakars corner squeeze punch....and here it is:

this is a totally fun way to use your leftover scraps when you are done with your projects...
I hope you'll give it a try and let me know how they turn out!!
Happy crafting.....Lynda
