Each Wednesday, the Unity Stamp gals issue a card challenge and I've been trying to play along when possible for the last few weeks. The challenge this week was to create a card that was a size other than the traditional A2 card size. So for my card I used a piece of scrap cardstock that was left after making a layout; so my card is 6 x 5 1/2 inches. I stamped the wonderful HULLABALOO single and embossed it with clear powder. I then used ink over the image to allow it to pop. I added some rhinestones in various areas to show off this stamps wonderful design. I added some stitches and doodles along the outside with my white gel pen.
for my second card I used Dream Street pattern paper and MM ribbon. This card is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches in size. These stamps are from the Floral Fantastical set by Unity.
This next card was for the SC197 challenge; which was a sketch challenge. I used some left over Dream Street papers that I had from an older kit from Paper Popsicles, some Bazzill cardstock, and some yummy Making Memories ribbon. I stamped the image and used Prismacolor pencils to color it in.
I am having so very much fun stamping again this much....I can not begin to tell you how much making these cards this past week has really gotten my creative juices going again. I had forgotten how much I enjoy making smaller projects that have such wonderful details.
I challenge you to pull out those stamps that you have and make something beautiful with them today!
