Favorite icecream layout for the YMBD So You Think You Can Scrap Contest

This Round of layouts for the So You Think You Can Scrap Contest over at YMBD Scrapbooking (Your Memories by Design) were to be based on this awesome challenge:

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"

The Challenge: What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? We want you to create a layout about any subject. However, you must create this layout using the colors of your favorite ice cream flavor!!!

My favorite icecream is coffe/toffee with caramel and almonds mixed in at Cold Stone...it''s a very rich flavor. I chose to use the 7 gypsies Nottinghill: Westbourne paper as my base since the pattern had the swirls like the caramel that is swirled into the ice cream; this paper was the last piece I had left from the Vintage Treasures kit from Dixie Pieces.

I convered my photo to an antique color using photoshop. I then mounted the photo onto a creamy cardstock. I then layered various Prima flowers in the same rich color family. I found this wonderful lace heart and used my anitque linen ink to age it. I added Prima leaves from my stash, some clear dew drops, some yummy fiber that I frayed to give it texture; the photo corners and ticket were in my RAK from Heather from YMBD... The LOVE along the right side of the photo and you are so beautiful to me tag are both from My Minds Eye.

I have to say that this is now my new favorite layout...(I know I say that a lot, but this bumps the others down...)

We'll find out later today if we move on to the next round...and what our next challenge will be...
