Today is the day...the 2nd set of September kits from Paper Popsicles projects are up

The second set of September kits are ready for you at Paper Popsicles!!!
I had such a great time designing with these Black Market Paper Society papers!!! I will say that I was so motivated that I got these projects done in just a few days...the colors are so rich and fun to work with.
I created this card first...I used my Circut and the Stretch your Imaginations cartridge to create this card. I added some ribbon from the Target $1 spot...love that stuff...

from the cutout flower from the card above...I made the sun for this card. I stamped the Sunshine stamp using a tombow marker for the color in a random pattern on the cardstock base. I punched the circles from the pattern paper and adhered them to the card to create this fun pattern. I trimmed the title from a cardstock sticker from the kit (it was suppose to say summer lovin'...I just switched the words for my card)

For this next card I punched four arrows out of the pattern paper using a Fiskars Squeeze punch. I next used a large scallop punch to create the base for my flower. The flower was cut from a piece of the pattern paper and then adhered to the top of the scallop shape. I added a dew drop to the flower center and lifted the petals on the flower for some dimension. The thinking of you rubon is by Pebbles Inc (not in the kit).

I next created this two page spread....I have so wanted to do a multi-photo strip photo layout and these pictures were perfect for this. My camera does five picture bursts, so this was just what I needed to span across the pages. I printed the smaller photos wallet size and did a little trimming so they would fit across the pages. I stamped the little penguins using Versafine and embossed them with clear powder. I colored them in using my tombow markers. I created the little surf board for my dude by layering pieces of the pattern paper and then creasing it down the center using and embossing tool.

aren't these just the cutest little beach buddies!!!

I have had this picture of my youngest since last Christmas and this paper was the perfect color to showcase her cute blue snowflake shirt and that santa hat...so I decided to show off how this paper can work with any season...so first beach...now Christmas!!! I added some dew drops to the flower centers on the cardstock sticker for some dimension.

Finally....I have had this little single serving Pringles container on my counter in my craft room for a while waiting for just the right project....and I had to use this little cutie just one more time...so I covered the container with the pattern paper...added the strip at the top...used the large scallop to punch out this shape...stamped her on white cardstock with the versafine ink and embossed her with clear powder. Once she was colored in with the tombows I adhered her to the scallop shape and then onto the container. I added the stitching by hand to make the image really POP.

I have to say that these are some of the best papers I've used in a long time. They feel a lot like the Daisy Bucket papers....they are hard to stick down though because the texture is all the way through the paper, so we glue stick lovers will be frustrated...pulled out my ATG gun and everything turned out fine...

I hope you'll stop by the gallery and take a peek at the other things the design team has done with the second round of kits...there will be more images added throughout the month by the team!!!
