Outside the box mini-album

So there are some super fun games, pranks, and other good fun going on over at Scrap Street this month. One of the challenges that was revealed when you figured out one of Dora's riddles was to create a mini-album...it had to have at least 4 pages, front, and back and you were to think outside the box....so I created this fun album:

To create the album you take two pices of 12 x 12 solid colored cardstock. You trim them both to 6 x 12. Then score each piece at the 6 inch mark. You then layer the pieces together to create this fun plus shaped pattern. You have to be a little careful when folding to allow for a little give if you want to make your pages bumpy/thick... I then used a nice coordinating piece of ribbon and ran it along the back and then use it to tie the mini-album closed. I really like how it turned out.

For my example I used the wonderful Black Market Paper society papers from the Paper Popsicles October kit....lots of hand doodling...lots of ink.... I hope you like it!!
