These are my last few weeks of being 40... it doesn't bother me at all; in fact I am celebrating turning what I am calling "40 wonderful"...even made a layout to prove it!!! This features the wonderful Daisy D's paper that I won from the Willow traders celebration earlier this year...I got this yummy paper from Fresh Pages Co. Sad to say they are not in business anymore.
Tanya posted a story on the Paper Popsicles message board earlier today about a young mother that tragically lost her life in a car accident right in front of her child's preschool building. I could not help but stop and hug my little one a bit harder after reading that story...and am sure to hold onto my oldest dd's hand a bit tighter when I walk her across the street from the bus stop in just a bit...
It is a reminder that life is for living...each day is a gift...you only have to take it for yourself and enjoy it...

41 feels no different then 40, which feels no different then 39, which feels no different then 38 and so on, and so on, and so on.....
I love that photo of you, what a pretty layout. I never heard of the Fresh Pages Paper Co - I guess maybe that's whey they aren't in business anymore.
So very true. Great layout.
Happy birthday girl! You look fabulous! :)
I just turned 30 and everyone kept asking me if I was scared...or calling me old. Seriously?! It's just another number and 30 IS NOT OLD (neither is 40 BTW). Now, when we starting talking 70s or 80s...well, that's getting up there :)
Thank you for sharing the SITS love yesterday! I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
I love that pic of you! and your layout is beautiful. Happy Birthday!!!
Whoa, gorgeous designs! I'm gonna go check out the link you gave on the previous post.
Thanks for stopping by The Journey for my SITS day. It's so great to meet so many new bloggers!
P.S. I'm in my mid-forties, and I must say there is something very comforting about this decade. No more wondering who I'm gonna be when I grow up.
