First let me say that the online crop this weekend at Dixie Pieces was a total blast. I managed to complete 9 of the 10 challenges...and it was not because I didn't want to get to the last one, I just ran out of gas....whew!!! The great part of Dixie Pieces is that they are now offering Digital kits that coordinate with their paper kits...so you can totally hybrid scrap without even having to think about things. Krista has done an amazing jobs with the kits and I am having so much fun doing some fun digital things!!!
So...a challenge was to do a Self-portrait layout about yourself...so here is mine...since I will be turning Forty-wonderful next month (41)...thought it was only fitting to create this layout celebrating my calendar flip!
I hosted a Catch a Wave card challenge; where you were to use rick rack on your card and doodle...so I created a second card for the crop...this time I used the Big Swirl stamp created by Sheila at That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams! http://www.thatsjazzystampdreams.com/
Be sure to stop by and look at all the great new stamps that Sheila just unveiled....she has been creating like crazy!!
My lovely friend Jackie (http://luv2scrappp.blogspot.com/) tagged me...so I am suppose to list seven random facts about myself....oh dear....I think this layout that I did for the All About Me challenge at the Dixie Pieces crop will have to do....there are more than seven random facts... this was created using the wonderful August digital kit at Dixie Pieces...they just keep getting better and better!!!
I am also thrilled to say that I am having a tray that I altered last Halloween published in the October/November Ready, Set, Create ezine. This is such a fun ezine if you haven't had a chance to check them out yet...you must!!!
