Prima pixie tins on the fridge...

I love all the scrapbook companies encouraging their customers to think green and recycle their packaging....the card that I posted a few days ago featured the clear packaging from a package from a double pack of toner cartridges for my printer...

Today I am showing you these cute magnets I made from the Prima Pixie tins. As soon as I got these tins last year I knew I had to make them into magnets but hadn't taken the time to work on the project...well last night I pulled them out and got busy. I used alcohol ink to stain the tins first; then added stickles to two of them and dew drops to the third. I then added a photo behind the plastic center on each one. I love how they turned out...they are so sparkly with the stickles and look GREAT on my fridge!!








So before you throw out that packaging....repurpose it!!!
