Mojo spotted in the Seattle area.....

So I think after having such a rough few weeks that I finally found my mojo....I think it must have taken a mini-vacation over the lake into downtown Seattle or something...

My dh needed a card for a friend that is getting remarried and I had this idea to make a circle from some Bazzill white wedding satin cardstock...then I stamped the beautiful vine from Unity Stamp company using a Versamark pad and then clear embossed over it. The flowers are from the dollar tree...the flower center was a RAK from Anne at Paper Patch Crafts....and the saying is from a Quote Stack that I've had for ages... I LOVE the way this card turned out...almost hated to give it to him to send in the mail, but I know if I was getting married and received this card it would certainly make me feel special!

I also have to share some fun news...I won a layout contest featured by my online pal Taryn. She is opening a Scrapbook retreat house http://www.thehamburghideaway.blogspot.com/
she wanted to fill the house with layouts to inspire her guests...so she posted a contest on her blog and the prize was a wonderful Coordinates Collection May Celebration Kit. Well you know how much I love contests... I had made this layout for Little Miss' album last year, so a few weeks ago I recreated it and submitted it to Taryn. It features the wonderful Prima baby line, flowers, May Arts ribbon, rhinestone brads, a Heidi Swapp butterfly that I glittered...it really is a wonderful soft layout. I figured if it wasn't chosen I would place the newer version into my family album since the original is in her album. I am so thrilled to have her select it...what a wonderful idea to know that something I created will be hanging on the walls to inspire others to create beautiful pages!!! Thank you Taryn!!!!
