Stinkbug, my angel kitty and best friend for the past 17 years is gone. She was the most loving creature I have ever known and I was so lucky to have her as long as I did. When I was in college, I came home from class one day and heard all this noise...I thought for sure it had to have been my father's kitten..maybe she had pushed out a screen and got out on the roof or something...but it wasn't that kitty at all....it was a tiny little baby Maine Coon kitty...one giant flea from head to toe... she had been trying to steal Tistan's food....well Tristan was a 20+ pound orange tabby..and he was not about to share. So I rescused her and we've been everywhere together. She traveled from Maryland to California...from California to Oregon...from Oregon to Washington. She was my one true constant through everything...
I knew this day would come...there is nothing to prepare you for it...I never know what to say when someone else loses a pet...and I am at a loss for words myself... I loved her with all my heart and she had a wonderful life here with us.
I love you and miss you already my beauty....you will always be in my heart.

I feel very sad for you Lynda. 17 years is a long time and it really is like losing a member of your family. She was lucky to have been rescued by you and to have had such a full and long life.
