Past Design Teams

They say that one door opens as another door closes.....

I decided after much thought to resign my design team position with Picture It Made. The kits there are wonderful, but I need routine and structure in my assignments to keep my organized self sane.

Shortly after I made that decision, there was a design team call posted on a site that I have been frequenting for a while now....

This past Sunday evening, I received a wonderful phone call from Sherry Grove, the owner of Dixie Pieces asking me if I would be interested in joining her amazing design team for her kit club starting May 1st....I jumped up and down and said YES of course!!!

Well today, I find a very sad message in my inbox that Tammy has decided to close down the Heart In Hand Scraps site. I am very sad to see this site go as it has wonderful instructors and ideas that are amazing, but I respect that Tammy has to make the right choices for herself.

So....things are changing all around for me. I have always been one to take change head-on...no matter what you will be in a different place after the change...and I love moving...can't stand to sit still too much. I am very excited about the changes that are happening in my creative world... I love having new opportunities and experiences...

You just never know what might happen next??? I do know one or two more exciting things, but you'll have to wait on those...one you will be able to find out about on Thursday...(hows that for a teaser?)
So, to Michelle and Tammy....I thank you very much for having given me the opportunity to design for you. To Sherry and Brenna I say thank you very much for this new opportunity to contribute the the growing of your Dixie Pieces business.

So in the coming months you'll be able to find some of my work here: http://dixiepieces.com/index.html

I hope you'll drop in and share some of your creations.........

Speaking of sharing...I'll leave you with a picture taken on Monday of the Princess and Little Miss in the Kindergarten classroom....she asked me to bring in Little Miss for her "share" (show and tell)...how sweet is that!

Okay, that's the cutest thing ever, wanting to take her sister for show & tell. I love that!

Congrats on the DP team! I'm thrilled - I hear the DT Coordinator is a real pill though - LOL.
