So...we have had some crazy wacky weather the past few days....it all started on Friday night...we got snow, hail, freezing rain...yuck. The girls ran out on the deck in their sleepy clothes with their rain boots on....it was bed time, but how often should it be doing this in Washington in April...never!!! (don't they look happy!)
Then Saturday off and on we got more of the above...nothing really would stick around...an inch of snow/hail then it would melt away...I was up with the cat a few times during the night and looked outside.... nothing....
POOF! first thing this morning when the girls woke up...HUGE flakes falling from the sky; the size of quarters.....of course they put on their boots and ran out onto the deck to catch snowflakes and dance around. This time we got enough that we could sled in the back yard and build a snowman! This was a regular winter time snow for us...big flakes, like 3 inches of snow in a few hours...then melted by lunchtime...all except our poor snowman...he is listing to the left now and has lost an arm, but he's our reminder that just a few short hours ago...we had a winter wonderland yet again in our back yard!
So...we've been here for yet another record...the latest measurable snow in the Seattle area on record....yeah?!

Wow! How fun, for the kids! :-D Maybe spring will come next month? LOL
