Need some glitter to brighten my day

It's kind of dreary outside today. We're suppose to get rain all week long. To brighten my mood I thought I would post a layout that I did that is totally full of the colors of the rainbow.

I created this layout for a contest at I Am A Scrapaholic...the challenge was to make a layout that shimmers, glitters and has a title with some attitude! I had taken these beautiful pictures of the Princess with her face painted from a birthday party...so I I had a great idea... I would repeat the pattern from her face painting using the extra yummy Doodlebug Sugar Coated Cardstock!!! I LOVE how this layout turned out...I love that I found just the right project to pull out this cardstock and use it...









So...are you hoarding certain supplies...not using them waiting for just the right project...or did they cost too much to actually bring yourself to use them on a project (which was my issue with this cardstock...had to have it, but didn't want to actually use it because of how much it cost)...kind of silly when you stop and think about it...what good is that special something doing just sitting there in your scrap space if you don't use it and enjoy it...

What special certain something are you hoarding??? What are you waiting for??? It is raining here today...so your rainy day is right here at my house...pull that stuff out and use it!!!
