My altering class

My altering How To class is up at Paper Popsicles in the How To Forum http://prelude.websitewelcome.com/~paperpop/forum/. It takes you step by step through some techinques and tips for successful altering. This is the first in our how-to series that I hope will inspire you to try new things.

This month's theme at Paper Popsicles is Alter Something.... in honor of that I posted some different items that I have altered...here are two...I think I may have shared one, but one is brand new!!!

So...here is a cute little ABC box that I made for my oldest dd. Inside the box are small cards that have a single letter of the alphabet on each one...I have written on the back something about my oldest dd that starts with the letter...so A has Adorable on the back...

The next altered something are these cute fridge magnets that I made using the Maya Road chipboard frames; some clothespins, and magnet strips. I put each school day of the week on them and we use them to hold dd's work from school. This has helped to keep our fridge nice and neat...at the end of the week we keep the "treasures" and recyle the rest. Fun, fast, and easy project that anyone can do!

I hope you'll join me on the message board as we learn some new techniques together!!
Happy altering!!!!!

Great idea with the clips...I'm always looking for a way to organize all the work the kids have for school.

I love the box too!
