I can't believe my last blog post was way back in June...oh wait, yes I can...since then we have:
1. Packed our entire home (mostly by myself since my husband started his new job in California while we were still finishing the school year in Washington)
2. Goodbye parties for all the girls' friends in Washington...sniff sniff...
3. Moved to California into a little apartment...makes you appreciate the space you had around you...plus side is the pool...
4. Started house hunting....and hunting....and hunting...made an offer...did not get the house...awwwww
5. Girls started school here...grump, grump, grump as they lost two plus weeks of summer vacation because school started earlier here....
6. Finally found a new house....offer name and it's all settled...just waiting for closing...then we get to move in...
7. Now we're pulling the girls from their current school to put them into their school the new house zones to...this means they will be in two different schools...with different start/stop times, different early release days, and just to make it more fun different days off for teacher days...
So...as you can see...things have been insane... I have been doing all my Scrap N' Art magazine work, so I've been creating through the chaos, but can not wait to have my own space again. The house is a 4 bedroom one, so the smallest room is my studio space!!! Not as big as my last room, but this is a single story house and the room has a large 6x4 foot window so I'll have TONS of natural lighting to use for all my work!!!
So to celebrate our getting close to the end of the finish line on this....I thought jumping in on the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog hop was a fun way to get back into blogging and stalking all my favorite bloggers out there...
My card features a cute image I received from 2 Cute Stamps when I was a guest designer for her a while back... I just think this birdie is sooo cute...
Colored with my favorite Copic markers and backed onto some wonderful papers from Maja Designs....if you haven't tried their papers you MUST find them...they are so delish in weight...heavy, but not too heavy; which makes layering on a card a dream.
Be sure to check out all the other wonderful linked up images on the hop blog:
And I just may have one or two more projects to share over the next days as I pulled out my Copics and have found some coloring time...
Happy crafting....Lynda
