Growing in Unity Day Five

So sad that today is my final day as the Growing in Unity Gal...  I have had so much fun this week sharing projects with you!  Thank you so much for your kind words and comments on my projects this week.  I hope you will consider following my blog if you don't already.

For my final card this week I am still using the same pattern paper pad by Fancy Pants titled Parkbench.

I decided to use this wonderful butterfly image from the SMAK kit from July 2012.  I have to say that the size of the images in this particular kit are among my favorites for cards as well as other mixed media projects!!!

For this card I started by covering my cardbase with all the leftover pattern paper scraps from my other projects from the week.  I inked the edges of the pieces to give them some depth.  I then stamped the butterfly image onto white cardstock.  Using the same Copic marker colors I've been using all week I colored the image and background.  I then mounted the image onto a scrap of black cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere it to my card base.

I love how it turned out and it really did complete the collection of cards I created for the week.

Here is an image of all the cards from my entire week together:

I hope you enjoyed my projects this week as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you!!!  Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post and my others as the Growing in Unity guest posts this week for your chance to win one of two 25 random stamps grab bags from Unity!  (are they awesome or what!)  Be sure to keep an eye on my blog to see if you were picked as my lucky winners!

Happy crafting....Lynda
