When I set down to create my projects for my week I decided that I was going to keep them all in the same color pallet and to do so I decided that all the projects would be created featuring pattern papers from the same line; the 6x6 paper pad from Fancy Pants called Park Bench. I have to say that these colors are some of my favorites and the patterns in this line lend themselves to so many fun projects!
I started by stamping this wonderful image from the September 2013 Kit of the Month Happiness has no Limit onto white cardstock using Memento black tuxedo ink. Looking on the Unity site...you can also find this image in the Take Care of You set as well. I then colored it using my Copic markers. I trimmed the image and mounted it to the whitewashed blue pattern paper from the pad and then onto the card front that I covered with the wonderful golden pattern paper.
I love the simplicity of this image and really think it lends itself to any kind of card. This one is for a friend that recently has been having a hard time, so I kept no sentiment on the front and just wrote a nice message to her on the inside.
I hope you'll come back each day this week as I share with you more Unity creations featuring this same color pallet from this paper line!
Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post and my others as the Growing in Unity guest posts this week for your chance to win one of two 25 random stamps grab bags from Unity!
